All Day Energiser - Adaptogenic Cacao Smoothie with Banana & Nut Butter

This super quick, easy, delicious and nutritious choccy banana smoothie is great any time of day. Providing superfoods, adaptogens & plenty of energy to keep you on the move.
Amazing in the morning, as a midday snack or even as a dinner replacement, supplement or dessert.
Plus it's super easy to make in just a few minutes.
How good!
INGREDIENTS
- 120g (1 big or 1.5 small) Ripe Banana - Fresh or Frozen
(frozen makes for a thicker, colder smoothie)
+ A little fresh banana for garnish
- 20g organic rolled or quick oats
- 20g nut butter - we love dark roasted almond or hazelnut, but any nut butter works great!
- 250ml cold coconut water
- 20g Mr Natural healthy hot chocolate
+ A little for sprinkles
If you don't have Mr Natural to hand then we recommend ordering some now!
Jokes aside, you really should!!
It should be a staple in every pantry, it's truly that versatile.
But for now, you can instead use around 10g/15g of organic cacao powder and a natural sweetener of your choice. We love coconut nectar or raw Honey.
We'd also recommend a dash of coconut oil, Coco cream or MCT oil for a bump of healthy fats. It also creates a better body and mouth texture!
Tip: Swap the coconut water for coconut milk for a milkier experience.

METHOD
- Pop all the ingredients in a blender. We use a Nutri bullet type blender but most blenders should do the trick.
- Blitz all together for 30 seconds - 1 minute and voila!
- Serve in your favourite glass.
- Garnish with a few slices of fresh banana + sprinkle with some extra Mr Natural!

Tip:
You can also serve it up as
a smoothie bowl and top with
your favourite fruit, nuts, seeds and granola, plus a dollop of nut butter
for some extra decadence.
