Neil - The creator of Mr Natural, is a natural born alchemist. With an absolute passion for all things holistic health, wealth and healing - be it physical, mental and emotional.
He is always seeking new foods to fuel life better - with an eagerness to boost everyday feelings of wellness, energy and good brain chemistry through functional foods and medicine.
One of his favourite quotes is from Hippocrates
- let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food
Being a perfectionist by nature and with a passion to feel great, he refuses the mainstream food industries so called "food".
The supermarkets and most food establishment these days are sadly abundant with additives, preservatives, "natural" flavourings and many man made compounds.
We've been lead to a large lie. One that's fed by corporate profit.
It's so hard to avoid - All these extra toxins from food we're ingesting are slowing us down, suppressing energy and making us feel average.
"Food should be food from a natural source. Not an e number made in a lab". Modern industrialisation and farming has a lot to answer for these days when it comes to our health and how we feel.
We want to bring back the food of our ancestors.
The food your grandmother ate. The goodness her grandmother ate.
Whole functional foods that are in alignment with our bodies and brains!
This desire and personality trait started at a young age in Neil, resulting in his older brother giving him the nickname "Mr Natural" as he'd only use natural products and avoid processed food and preservatives.
In 2023, Neil became obsessed with Cacao.
It made him feel great.
Strong, energised but calm and clear. Especially as he was quickly realising that pairing Cacao with coconut products like coconut milk and MCT made the feeling even better. It was functional food for the brain.
From there began the quest to find the best cacao from around the world. The purest versions and and best sources.
At the same time there was a deep love for functional mushrooms. Learning from Ayurveda about adaptogenics and plant symbiosis, he started to experiment with mushroom and cacao mixes.
At that time, he was trying many of the mixes already available on the market, but was disappointed by the offerings available.
The mushroom cacao sector was missing something.
All the offerings seemed to be either grainy, bland, missing texture and mouthfeel or spiced to hell with chilli or ginger.
He wanted something that not only resembled a real good drinking chocolate. Like something you'd find at a Christmas night market in Bruges, Belgium, but one that is also functional. One that is good for you. One that gives you that bliss and deep satisfaction feeling we all love about chocolate, but without the sugar crash. Without the guilt.
Along came Mr Natural...
After maybe a year of playing with recipes, trialling probably upward of 40 - 50 cacao sources. Endless tweaks and mixes. He started serving his creations and sharing it with friends...
Whom couldn't get enough.
Many said it was the best cacao/hot chocolate they'd ever tried.
So the overwhelming consensus was "this needs to be shared with the world".
So along came Mr Natural Superfoods - with "Healthy Hot Chocolate", then later "Superfood Chocolate" which was released in April 2024.
From humble beginnings in a Currumbin Valley kitchen, the quest and desire to create delicious and nutritious everyday beverages beyond the norm of standard hot chocolate, with the passion to share his feel good energy recipes with the world....
Mr Natural was born.
We are that type of human... the one that reads the ingredients list of every packet in the supermarket, then says NO to ingredients that aren't… NATURAL!

We were getting tired of the amount of crap in most everyday foods and drinks.
The amount of emulsifiers and refined sugar one can find in the tea and coffee aisle of the local supermarket is enough to keep dentists in business until cows jump over the moon. These days, it's hard to avoid additives, preservatives and things that keep us inflamed.
We want to feel incredible. And we want you to too.
